A very powerful piece, especially with that title. I do so want to imagine that the unidentified deity up there is female.

Though, IMHO, the gloria could possibly be a mite over-the-top.

That aside, a stunning display of the myriad ways to define "white". Now if only my laptop screen wouldn't be so bloomin' retarded when it comes to extremely light colours. *jifts screen back and forth* Very nice effect with the rays of light overlapping the cloudscape in the background. I like how the deity's hair and robes melt into the clouds beneath her (neh), like the environment is also a part of her manifestation. The simple, murky cloth wrapped around the child gives a nice contrast to the deity's transcendental appearance.

A deep and thoughtful picture that really struck a cord in me.
