I hate coloring water... and, as it turns out, earth... but I kind of got what I wanted in the completed piece. I hope. idk it's 3:30 in the morning, I'll probably be embarrassed by this when I wake up tomorrow.
Kind of like my parents. My mom's in a polyamorous relationship with two men. And we're all Wiccan, so she's attributed to the goddess, or Mother Earth. 8)
I like this picture a lot. I really like the concept, wish I had the imagination to think of it first so I could draw it up for my family. xDDD

I actually like the interpretation you have on the quote. It has a very Greek/Roman feel to me, combined with Sylvan lore. Stunning, as usual, and the muted colors are powerful nonetheless.
