*blink* Woooow, the scary person who commented, kokoro13??? Kinda nuts. But higurashiXyoumi wasn't all that accurate either.
If you want a more neutral opinion, the first book was written alright; a little boring in places, the Confessor power thing was kind of easy to poke holes in, the main guy was kind of an idiot, and then there was a whole WTF pain and BDSM part in it that was weird and unnecessary in my opinion.....
It was pretty long, but I can get through 900+ pages in three or four days, so that's not an issue for me.
Despite those issues it was an okay read (and a library book, so it's not like I had to buy it to find out it was a solid 'meh').
Then I read the next one, and the next one, etc. I gave up around book four (or five, can't really remember), when the two main characters STILL kept having horrible gut wrenching things happen to them to keep them from fulfilling their EPIC LOVE. -__- It got old fast.
Aaannnd then I had a good long laugh when I heard a while back that Terry Goodkind had said this. Because, PLEASE, they are SO fantasy.*G*
